Paper Moon, a new café in Glorietta offers a decadent dessert- the Mille crepe. It’s twenty layers of paper-thin crepe + super light pastry cream + torched caramelized crust!
Paper Moon is located at the ground floor of Glorietta 3, across Marks & Spencer. The Mille Crepe comes in 3 sizes in an assortment of flavors- original, strawberry, chocolate and mango.
The large cake (10″) costs P2,000 or P225 a slice. The medium which measures 6″ costs P1,400. The mini is 3″ and costs P350.
Aside from the crepe cake, they also have sandwiches, quiches, salads, cakes, macarons, cream puffs, cookies, cupcakes, and coffee.
Thank you to Madame Emy Wada for making these specialty cakes! She started making mille crepes in Tokyo in the 70’s. In the 80’s, she opened Paper Moon Cake Boutiques all over Japan. And in the 2000’s, she expanded to New York.
Aside from Glorietta, there’s also a Paper Moon in Trinoma.
