Eating here seemed fitting after I submitted by requirements for the Japan Visa application. :P
Their toasts look so picture-perfect that I had a hard time choosing between savory and sweet. Wanted to get one of each!
I went with a sweet drink– Matcha Green Tea Latte (135php) and a savory toast– Shibuya Benedict (255php).
The latte was decent. Not too sweet and didn’t have the usual slightly bitter matcha taste. It was not as creamy/milky as I expected.
The Shibuya Benedict has farmer’s ham, poached egg, shitake mushrooms (from the can, I saw it), and mayo cream sauce. It tasted as good as it looked. Filling, too! Plus it was served with so much potato chips with Mentaiko (marinated roe) mayo that tasted like ordinary mayo.
The mom and daughter that were seated near me ordered a Shibuya Toast and a Strawberry Matcha Toast. The latter, I’d like to try next time I visit.
They also have other items apart from toasts and lattes. They have pasta, salads, and entrees like baked salmon and chicken teriyaki.
