Carinderia na may angus corned beefsilog, German franksilog, gindarasilog, at French toast?
Parang joke, noh? But it’s true! There’s this eatery in Maliksi St, near Kamias that has all those and more. Miko calls it Boyong’s, I guess because that’s the old name in its old location. I checked their tarp and it says Café Estero.
Grabe. Wala ako masabi sa dami ng choices nila. They have 45 silogs in all! At silogs pa lang ‘yan ha. Meron pa! They have 28 kinds of sandwiches, including yema sandwich and French toast. Ang lakas maka-sosyal. :p
May noodles pa and pica-pica! Meron pang ice cream bar na parang Magnum. :D
Café Estero has an assortment of goodies for those addicted to candies, chocolates, and other small sweet stuff. Nakakatuwa lahat talaga may label.
MAY FRUITELLA PA PALA?
And oh lordy, they have two of my childhood favorites– belekoy and tira-tira!!! Too bad I was suffering from a bad case of cough and sniffles when we went there so I couldn’t eat those. :(
But yaaaay…. food! We got sisigsilog, Spanish sardinessilog, and baconsilog.
Here’s Miko putting some Lady’s Choice Mayo on his sisig. Just a funfact about us, lagi akong may baon na mayo kasi favorite ni Foodie ang mayo. He likes it with sisig, bacon, hotdog, and kung ano mang meat dish ang maisipan niya na bagay sa mayo. Hehe.
The sisig was done Kapampangan-style, except it didn’t have that much onions and liver. It’s still yummier than I expected it to be.
I was surprised to get a bowl of sardines, 5-6 pieces I think. I was thinking it will just be 2 or 3 pieces. And it’s not straight out of the can and served. It was sautéed in garlic and onions. Yummmmm!
The bacon isn’t the best bacon there is, but hello, it’s still bacon. And for a bill of around 300php, magreklamo pa ba ako? That’s including drinks- Coke and Royal. Panalo! I recommend this place to all you foodies, except to those who are maarte. Kasi hardcore carinderia talaga itsura nito, daanan pa ng maraming sakasakyan. May mga dogs pa na nagjejerjer malapit sa amin. Mwehehehe!
I don’t think they sell beer or other alcoholic beverages. Had our “two bottles” in Naranghita with his barkada instead. It was fun drinking and listening to impromptu jams.
Busog sa mura at masarap na chibog tapos “two bottles” after? Most def my kind of Friday night. :D
