It was my last coffee date with Jap before she went to the US and I let her choose the place. She chose this neighborhood cafe that her cousin Dione (a coffee addict like her, hehe) brought her to.
Milky Moustache is a little treasure found in Russia St., Betterliving Subdivision. They serve fantastic milkshakes, hence the name.
I love that they made an effort to decorate the place with cute things that can serve as conversation pieces or subjects for photography. :p
The walls are also decorated with famous quotes that made my stay there a bit sentimental. One’s from C.S. Lewis, “There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
Okay, enough drama. Will save this for later. :p Went there for coffee so I had the French Press. I remember exactly what kind of brew I had but it was mild and sweet. Did’t have to put a lot of sugar in it.
I also had a Carrot Cupcake and a Grilled Chicken Pesto. I liked the cupcake, moist and not so sweet. Would be great if the frosting was richer. The pasta was delish and flavorful, but the chicken was a wee dry.
Jap had an Iced Mocha Latte and she talked for almost 5 minutes about how nice mason jars are. Talked to her earlier, and she already scored one in Las Vegas. Haha.
What’s it about mason jars that make ladies go gaga? Is it because it’s all over Pinterests? I want some mason jars too! Gonna try making a meal in a jar!
Anyhoodles, too bad we only found out about this cafe recently. We would have spent more time there. Not only do they serve good food and drinks, the service was terrific as well!
If I do get another reason to visit Milky Moustache again, I’d like to try their Reese’s Peanut Butter Milkshake and any of their All Day Breakfast Meal.
If you’re in the area, make sure to visit Milky Moustache. It’s ideal for kilometric gabbing sessions with your BFF. Gonna miss you, Jappy! I hope the cafe is still around so we can go back when you come visit. :)

BTW, I keep on seeing those mason jars – especially the Ball brand in some of the pics – at True Value, (though I just don’t know how much they cost); hope this helps :)
Wow! I better check True Value and the likes! Thanks for the info. =)
