Razon’s Halo-halo and Dinuguan

Most people eat the Razon’s famous halo-halo with the (almost) equally famous pancit luglug, but not this girl!

One of my all time favorite unusual food combos is the Razon’s halo-halo and their dinuguan + puto. Sweet and savory combo for the win!

Their dinuguan or pork blood stew has just the right mix of meat, fat, and internal organs. It’s not too sour and not too thick. The taste is actually perfect but I still like to eat it with some patis.

The puto is just like what I buy from Calasiao, Pangasinan. The classic combo of dinuguan and puto is 125php.

Razon’s halo-halo is the best in town for me. It’s still a mystery how only 4 ingredients- macapuno, bananas, leche flan and milk + ice can make this super yummy.

It could be the finely shaved ice or the milk which is allegedly carabao milk. Whatever the reason is, it is and will always be my favorite! Kahit na 92php na ngayon ang price, okay lang! Wirth it pa rin!

Other must-eats are their Sizzling Bulalo, Taba ng Talangka, and Silvanas. Galing talaga magluto ng mga Kapampangan!

Razon’s of Guagua has 25 branches in Metro Manila and the South. The last one I visited was their SM Manila branch. Hinabol ko talaga bago closing time! Salamat sa staff na nagmadali na ilabas agad ang pagkain ko. :p

  1. that halo halo has less ingredients than the typical ones (like that of chowking) but razon’s really is the best. i think it’s because of the milk. full cream.
