There are 2 Bagnet places in San Antonio Village Makati and the one I frequent is 8065 Bagnet because it’s near my place. But because I just walk home lately and take the Malugay route, I now also get to eat at the other bagnet place– Stoops Bagnet Ilocos.
It’s one of the small restos in the short strip called The Zone. It’s right beside JT’s Manukan. Stoops’ menu has the basic Ilocano specialties– bagnet, longganisa, dinengdeng, pinakbet, empanada and igado.
Last I ate in Stoops, I was with my colleague Tine. We had a regular Bagnet Meal with plain rice (98php), Ilocos Longganisa Meal (75php), and KBL- kamatis, bagoong, lasuna. Lasuna is the small onion grown mainly in the Ilocos region.
Their bagnet is less salty and less fatty than the one in 8065. According to my bagnet standards (may ganon??? lol), less sinful is less yummy. :p Masarap pa rin ha, basta mas bet ko pa rin ang bagnetan sa Estrella. I super love Stoops’ longganisa though. Very garlicky!
For dessert, they have Dan Eric’s ice cream. You can also just check out the neighboring stores, Happy Cream Puff and Roci for coffee and pastries.
